I was “busy” the whole day. I started the day with my laundry and my back hurt washing those clothes! Then I prepared for church since I’ll be attending the service at 10AM.
As I was making my way towards the gate, I can feel myself slumping as if the ground is pulling me down. I stopped walking and tried to straighten my back but then I seem to find that task impossible to accomplish! Oh no! I’m still so young for osteoporosis, I groaned to myself. I tried to “carry” Little Nicholas by my two hands and tried straightening my back again and it worked! Shucks! Little Nicholas is getting real heavy these days. I felt like carrying a bowling ball!
I was thinking about that while riding a tricycle on my way to the church. I think I really have to follow doctor’s order to purchase a maternity support belt or else I’ll find it difficult to walk one of these days. Sigh!
So after the worship service, I went to the mall and looked for a support belt. Luckily, I found one that costs just about $5. After paying for it, I made my way to the comfort room and put the belt on as I was planning to have my weekly grocery as well. I just remembered I’m out of stock — no milk, no oatmeal, no water, no food, no toiletries! I definitely have to do my buying!
Walking around the grocery store, Little Nicholas is still heavy but the belt is supporting him nevertheless. The only problem is that my little angel doesn’t seem to like the whole idea. He kept on kicking and kicking till I have to stop in a corner and talk to him because it really hurts. He seemed to understand and took pity on Mommy so he calmed down.
What a day! I’m glad I’m home. Whew!
