Daddy is Coming! :)

My angel and I are excited! It’s almost 2010 which means Mark is coming! It will indeed be a Happy New Year for Nicholas and me even if we’ll enter 2010 with no money in our bank account or in our pockets LOL! :) Kidding aside, this year has been wonderful. Not only because I enjoyed my first year of motherhood, but also because I met Mark this year.

But I look forward to 2010. It will be the year of blissful love and family life for me, my angel, my Mahal and out future kid(s).  I know I don’t hold the future in my hands but I am hopeful and very positive that everything will turn out fine on 2010. It’s the year of my dreams coming true :)

So Nicholas and I are here in my parents’ house together with my sisters and their families. We will welcome 2010 together. But Nicholas and I are welcoming it with Mark as well :) Then tomorrow, we will go to a private resort together with our relatives for a Family Reunion. It will be fun, and I know it will be great but not as great as spending it with Mark :( Oh well, fifteen more days… and we’ll have the most wonderful time of our lives together :)

Ahhh… I can’t believe the year is ending, just a few more hours from now, it will be 2010. I have so much to look back on this year… I can’t believe Nicholas turned one already and will be celebrating his 2nd New Year’s Eve and Family Reunion with the whole family. How time flies fast! But mostly, I can’t believe I’ll be given another chance to happiness this year, that I will find my true love and my destiny… Love really moves in mysterious ways. Who would thought it’ll come to this? :)

Thank God for this year, thank God for my sweet little angel, thank God for Nicholas’ health, thank God for all the blessings, thank God for another chance to building a family, thank God for my Mahal, thank God for another year…

Happy New Year everyone!

Life’s Purpose

Joining several discussion sites made me reflect about my life.  There are so many discussions about life, life’s direction, contentment, happiness, and more. Right now, I am “enjoying” my life. I can say that I am happy, contented and proud that I am a single Mom.

Five years ago, in the midst of miseries and suffering, finding a life purpose, is but an impossible thing to do. Now, with my little angel in my life, I know God has given me a wonderful purpose in life — that is to become the best Mom for my little Nicholas.

I never thought parenting can be a very gratifying responsibility. Though I am alone in rearing my son, in molding a good future for him, I am still hopeful and positive that I can do this. I see this as God’s gift, His way of telling me that I have a purpose in my continuing existence in this world. Sigh… after all I’ve been through, I can still sing… “What a wonderful world”. Thank God for Little Nicholas.

Mommy and Little Nicholas are Grateful…

First and foremost, God still loves me and my baby, despite all the wrongs I’ve done; that I still have this great privilege to worship Him, to pray to Him and to stay within His favor; that I still possess my borrowed life and strength; and that I still have the courage, the hope, the faith, and the good health to go on with this life.

Second, for God’s most precious gift – my Little Nicholas. Whatever were the consequences which comes along this gift, they’re nothing compared to the happiness and fulfillment that I am feeling right now, especially that my baby’s coming in a few days.

Third, for my loveones, My Mama and Papa, my sisters and my nieces and nephew, my cousins, my aunts and uncles, my friends and all those who care for me (including the possibility of a lasting love with someone from afar) and pray for my well-being and safety, as well as Little Nicholas; for all their loving support and guidance; for being there always.

Fourth, for the talents and the skills that God has given me; for the wisdom and the inspiration, for the knowledge, for the job that He has given me that had helped me in supporting this life; for my passion in music and writing; for my love in learning; for all the wonderful gifts and blessings that I received from Him daily.

Fifth, for this opportunity to thank God and all my loveones and to let the world know that I am grateful…

Thanks to Mommy Elvz of Straight From The Heart for giving me this tag. I feel honored and grateful that you have chosen me to pass this forward. Now, I am passing this to a chosen few, whom I know have so much to be grateful in this life as well.
