Our Little Nicholas

My angel and I are excited! It’s almost 2010 which means Mark is coming! It will indeed be a Happy New Year for Nicholas and me even if we’ll enter 2010 with no money in our bank account or in our pockets LOL! Kidding aside, this year has been wonderful. Not only because I enjoyed my first year of motherhood, but also because I met Mark this year.

But I look forward to 2010. It will be the year of blissful love and family life for me, my angel, my Mahal and out future kid(s).  I know I don’t hold the future in my hands but I am hopeful and very positive that everything will turn out fine on 2010. It’s the year of my dreams coming true

So Nicholas and I are here in my parents’ house together with my sisters and their families. We will welcome 2010 together. But Nicholas and I are welcoming it with Mark as well Then tomorrow, we will go to a private resort together with our relatives for a Family Reunion. It will be fun, and I know it will be great but not as great as spending it with Mark Oh well, fifteen more days… and we’ll have the most wonderful time of our lives together

Ahhh… I can’t believe the year is ending, just a few more hours from now, it will be 2010. I have so much to look back on this year… I can’t believe Nicholas turned one already and will be celebrating his 2nd New Year’s Eve and Family Reunion with the whole family. How time flies fast! But mostly, I can’t believe I’ll be given another chance to happiness this year, that I will find my true love and my destiny… Love really moves in mysterious ways. Who would thought it’ll come to this?

Thank God for this year, thank God for my sweet little angel, thank God for Nicholas’ health, thank God for all the blessings, thank God for another chance to building a family, thank God for my Mahal, thank God for another year…

Happy New Year everyone!

I’m 1 year old! Yipee! I’m a grown up!

Mommy and Daddy really went out to make my birthday celebration a huge one! Why huge? For so many reasons. First, my happiness is so huge I am with my Mommy and Daddy called to wish me a Happy Birthday. Second, a clown hosted the party. He looks huge and a little scary with his face white but I didn’t really cried. I’m a big boy now Third, a huge version of my Mickey Mouse stuff toy was there and danced for me and my friends! Yipee! Fourth, I was able to get huge smiles from my guests with my Micky Mouse and friends’ cupcakes and giveaways, and games, and prizes, and more! It was a very wonderful day!

Mommy hired someone to take pictures and take a video too. But I can’t post the video here, it’s too large… So you can visit my Mom’s Facebook photo album and see all of my pictures there.

I really enjoyed my party. Many kids came and I received many gifts too! LOL! I’m sure my guests enjoyed themselves too especially with the clown’s magic tricks and games, Mickey Mouse’s dance and picture taking sessions, the overflowing softy ice cream, the yummy mickey mouse and friends’ cupcakes and all the mickey mouse goodies that they get to bring home!

I also enjoyed the company of my loveones, aside from my one and only Mommy. There’s GrandPa and GrandMa, my aunts, my cousins and my many grand-aunts! Ahhh.. I love celebrating my birthday!

By the way, Mommy made changes in my blog just in time for my birthday. She thinks making it look brighter will mirror my sunny and happy disposition. Yes, I love being happy, I smile and laugh a lot. Why not? I have a Mommy and a Daddy who both love me so much, I have grandparents, aunts, cousins and friends who care for me… who wouldn’t be happy? So do enjoy my blog’s new look and share happiness and contentment with me…

And I’m a grown-up kid! Not that I still look little

This is my grandparents’ place, this is where I’m gonna have my first birthday party. Everybody has been busy making sure the place is clean and ready. Even GrandPa scraped the old paint of the gates and painted it a fresh one! Actually, it’s GrandPa’s 50th birthday too (yes, we have the same birthday) so he wants to make sure the place is beautiful for both our parties

So Mommy and I took pictures (again LOL!) on the lawn. Mommy even faked riding a motorbike huh! Hmmm.. Mom, errrr… I don’t think your foot’s on the right place hihihi!

We also took our picture on the swing. Yeah, I love this place! Mommy and I sit on this swing every morning and every afternoon to relax The breeze is just great here!

So let’s go back to my birthday. Tomorrow is the day. Yes, I’m excited and I know Mom’s both nervous and busy too. She’s been doing many stuff to make my party a success, her main goal — to make sure I enjoy my first party and have lots and lots of beautiful pictures for Daddy Mark (and us too) to enjoy. I really wish Daddy Mark is here on my birthday, I’ll be happier and Mommy too. But I guess I’ll just have another party with him when he comes back!

I’m not sure but I guess this will be my last post with this old design. I saw Mommy designing a new template for my website and I like it very much. Why? Because I see my family’s picture in it! Yipee! Well, below’s a preview of Mommy’s new design. I guess she’ll be busy with the designs and updating this website when I turn 1.

This is really exciting and at the same time making me nervous! I want everything to go smoothly and as planned  on that day but as we all know something always comes up on the actual event! Oh well, i just hope I’ll be open-minded enough to foresee the untoward incidents that might happen and be prepared for them.

Nico’s Mickey Mouse giveaways came a week ago. it has been delivered by cartoon.city — new friend from Ebay Philippines. I was so satisfied with our transaction — speedy and smooth shipping, hassle-free communication and great items in a variety of colors and shapes in affordable prices! See? Nico loves them! I’m sure the kids will like Nico’s giveaways too, Nico’s practically drooling over them LOL!

So what are these items by the way? I have Coloring books, Writing and coloring activity books, Jigsaw puzzles, Sticker Books, Mini Puzzles, Kiddie Wallets, Pencils, 24 Pieces Art Sets, Colored Pencils and School Kits all in colorful Mickey Mouse and Friends designs!

I guess I have everything covered. I already reserved the clown/magician who will host the party, the Mickey Mouse mascot who will dance :), the Mickey Mouse cake that will be especially made for that event by Emily, some of the invitations were sent out, which I made myself, the tarpaulin was printed, which I designed myself, I also purchased a chocolate fountain (just a small one), negotiated with the ice cream maker (softy ice cream), photographer and the videoman (which are very important so that Mark will get to share with the celebration), as well as the tables and chairs rentals (and the balloons too!). I also bought Mickey Mouse paper plates and utensils, and party hats as well as the prizes for all the games and the decorations. Well, I’m yet to buy the ingredients for the food though

Ahhhh! 9 more days! And I think I look like a mess! I wonder if I’ll ever manage to look good on my angel’s special day? Yeah right! Whatever!

Well, his nanny made fun of his standing hair and put a hair tie on it My baby still looks super handsome as he always will but I noticed he probably looks stunningly beautiful as well if he was born a she LOL!

And whoa! Is that Michael Jordan? What’s with the tongue and the shooting pose?

And what about that threatening look? Hmmm… Are you trying to scare me honey? LOL!

Well, Nicholas, I can say, have learned to vary his facial expressions with his needs. yep, the stories we heard about babies being manipulative is right after all Nicholas can manipulate me with his faces and his voice. Huh! I have an actor in the making here! One thing is for sure, my angel knows what he wants and he definitely knows how to get it!
