It’s been a week or so since I “ran out” of milk supply. Nico is no longer breastfed, he’s now completely bottle fed. I wanted so much to sustain his needs by giving him nutritious breast milk but I cannot do anything about that anymore. However, I am really delighted with the ‘changes’ that I’ve seen now that he’s bottle fed. I’m not really sure though if these changes are really brought about by exclusive S26 Gold formula feeding or maybe he’s a just real grown-up boy now.

First, Nico loves to sleep nowadays… and he sleeps without me carrying him for hours and rocking him to sleep huh! I just put him on the bed, shower him with kisses, whisper sweet nothings to him, embrace him warmly and he dozes off! I was actually shocked when I first saw it happened (you can’t realize how fussy Nico was when it comes to sleeping) and I thought it was just a one-time incident. Then it’s like that every single day. Goodness! Was I ecstatic!

Then everybody can talk loudly (his cousins even shout and play around him) while he’s soundly asleep on the bed. We used to tiptoe, watch out our every move, careful not to make a noise when Nico is sleeping because he was easily awake. But hah! Even loud thunders and the chorus of screams due to blackout last night didn’t wake him up! He loves to sleep huh?

And he doesn’t have that tummy ache anymore! He seldom cries nowadays. Come to think of it, I never really heard him cry these days. It’s as if he has become a smart baby overnight; he already communicates his hunger by putting his whole hand (yes, whole hand) in his mouth and he never cries huh! And gosh! Thank God he’s colic-free! He’s a happy baby, always smiling, always giggling, always giving joy to everybody around him.

Now, I wonder if my milk did all those “bad” things to him and that S26 Gold is doing these “good” things to him. Whatever the reason is, I’m happy with how things are going right now… I’m happy that my little angel is a happy baby
