Huggies, Pampers, EQ… Nico have tried and tested all these three brands. I’m not really sure if all these brands are available outside the Philippines (maybe, except for EQ, guess it’s a Philippine brand, not really sure, hmmmm…).

Of the three, Huggies is the most expensive. Oh well, the quality is good, the cloth-like quality is great. I guess it’s just worth the price. Pampers comes second when it comes to price, quality is ok as well. EQ (Plus not Dry) is the cheapest of the three.

EQ stands for Economy and Quality, and true to its acronym, it is indeed economical and of high quality.  Nico seems to like EQ. He didn’t have rashes with it (he used to have rashes with Huggies, I don’t know why).

Well, the truth is Nico uses EQ because it’s the biggest among the three (Pampers is the smallest). You see, Pampers’ Large is EQ’s Small. Yep, you read that right. And as you already know, Nico’s a big baby. At three months, he’s already using EQ’s Large size (probably Pampers’ XL). EQ is also wider than Huggies and Pampers. Huggies is just too “slim” for Nico. I mean, Nico has got big legs and his uhmmmm poopies are wet and plenty, they tend to go out of Huggies and Pampers nappies. Well, not with EQ

EQ comes in three variants, Plus, Dry, and Colors. EQ Dry is the most expensive of the three because it’s like cloth. But I don’t really like it. I mean, Nico doesn’t like it that much. It seems to get “heavier” faster than EQ Plus, guess the cloth is not that absorbent. EQ Plus has got wetness indicator. I like it. It always gives me the signal that I need, telling me it’s time to change nappies.

But of course, not all babies are the same. What works for Nico might not work for other babies.
